Agenhor AGENGRAPHE CAL. 6361.M1

The AgenGraphe family was conceived by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht at Agenhor, a family-owned movement manufacturer based in Meyrin, Geneva, and publicly unveiled in early 2017. The automatic base caliber, AGH-6361, made its debut inside the Fabergé Visionnaire Chronograph at Baselworld 2017 — a commission that placed the new architecture immediately into the luxury tier. That original automatic version measured 34.40 × 7.17 mm with its dial-side micro-rotor, contained 477 components and 67 jewels, and provided a 60-hour power reserve from twin mainspring barrels.

The CAL. 6361.M1 is a manual-winding derivative built to order for Hong Kong independent brand MING (Horologer MING). Removing the peripheral rotor reduces movement height to 5.35 mm and trims power reserve to approximately 55 hours. 01 chronograph collection since the watch's debut around 2020, across multiple series editions through 2024.

What sets the entire AgenGraphe family apart from virtually all prior chronograph architecture is its inverted layout: the full chronograph gear train occupies the center of the movement while the mainspring barrels and keyless works are arranged peripherally. This concentricity allows four central hands — hours, minutes, chronograph seconds, and chronograph minutes — to radiate from a single central axis, eliminating sub-dials entirely. Agenhor's proprietary AgenClutch merges the engagement characteristics of horizontal and vertical clutches without the drawbacks of either, and an instantaneous-jump snail-cam system governs the elapsed-minutes counter.

As a bespoke movement developer that sells calibers exclusively to watch brands rather than on the open market, Agenhor has kept the 6361.M1 specific to MING. Its unusual architecture has attracted significant attention in the enthusiast press, with the AgenGraphe concept widely described as the most original new chronograph mechanism introduced in decades.
